Life Notes: Creating a Life I Love
In my early 30s, I started to realize that adulthood is not just about chasing achievements. It is also about creating a life that feels peaceful, meaningful, and aligned with who I am. I choose a slower yet more intentional way of living. Less chaos & no drama.
Looking back at my younger days, I remember constantly feeling burned out even when I was achieving my work targets & reaching the goals I set for myself. From the outside, everything seemed fine, but there were small parts of my life that still felt empty.
My biggest lesson this year is success means nothing if I don't have the energy to truly enjoy it. I started learning how to romanticise ordinary days, appreciate small moments, enjoy humble life and become comfortable being alone.
Here are some little changes I made to create a life that feels more like mine...
Creating slow mornings
Building a home I love
If there's 1 thing I've learned this year, it's that the most meaningful glow up is not about changing how you look, but it's about changing how you live. Creating a life I love is not about making dramatic changes overnight, it's about choosing myself in the little things, every single day.
Some days will still feel overwhelming, and that's totally okay. Creating a life I love is still a work progress, but for the first time in a long time, it feels like I'm exactly where i need to be. And I think that's a beautiful journey to be on.
Thank you for reading.
